York County’s wholesale and retail trade, transportation and warehousing industries continue to represent over a quarter of employment and the manufacturing sector has rebounded slightly from 2013.

Only 15% of the York County workforce is employed in information, finance, real estate, professional service and administration, though this sector leads in Pennsylvania.
