YORK COUNTY remains among the Pennsylvania counties experiencing population GROWTH over 10% and is one of the few Pennsylvania counties that grew by more than 40,000 people since 2000. Approximately 5.6% of York County residents are HISPANIC, compared to 8.6% in Lancaster and 5.7% in Dauphin counties.
