The rate of non-violent CRIME in York County has risen by 6.1% since the 2009 Indicators Report and is 10% higher than the Pennsylvania rate. York County's VIOLENT crime rate declined by 12% since 2009 compared to a statewide decline of 4%. Substantiated child abuse cases DECLINED in 2010, more closely matching statewide averages, while the number of cases of driving under the influence continues to EXCEED statewide rates.
